NOS Ministries is a 501© (3) Nonprofit Organization with the sole purpose of providing individuals that have an honest desire to recover from addiction with a structured and community supported sober living environment.  Our philosophy and vision is to eliminate substance abuse and chemical dependency by providing a structured, supportive environment built on integrity, honesty, unity and 12 step values.

We currently run two sober living home as follows:

  • Both homes are located in Downtown Bradford, PA within walking distance to church, grocery, and laundry locations.
  • 12-Step meetings within walking distance 5 nights of the week
  • Consistent oversight of operations, progress, and commitment to recovery
  • Maximum of 7 clients per home

We have collaborated with Maple Manor Addictions Treatment Facility and Bradford Regional Medical Center's inpatient services to provide client referrals.  Our homes include accountability with 24-hour on-sight house management. Our Board of Directors are dedicated to assisting our residents in finding stability and growth in all areas of recovery based living.  We also support our residents with employment assistance efforts and community reconnection through volunteerism.

Although we are self-supporting through tenant rent, we are seeking community support to raise the required capital to fulfill the following needs:

  • Debt reduction                                        $50,000 (we currently hold a secured loan of $125,000)
  • Maintenance Reserve                         $20,000
  • Transportation (Van Purchase)      $20,000
  • Rent Forgiveness                                    $10,000

Please note that all supplemental revenues will be utilized solely for mission advancement.

Unless you live in, know a friend or family member, or are associated with the field of recovery, chances are you likely have a misunderstanding of the addict/alcoholic and all that is involved in a process of recovery. Our call of Responsibility is to educate our community through our actions and responsibilities
